Nusrat began his legal career in 1993. He is a recipient of prestigious Chevening scholarship at the College of Law, UK, and is dual-qualified. Nusrat is admitted as Solicitor to the Society of England and Wales (NP) and is a member of Bar Council of Maharshtra and Goa (India). In 1997, Nusrat co-founded D. H. Law Associates, India, and has been instrumental in the firm’s prolific growth across pan India and internationally.
Nusrat has contributed articles to prestigious publications and is a frequent speaker at national and international fora. He features in esteemed legal directories as one of the leading Indian lawyers, including Who’s Who Legal and Asia Pacific Legal 500. He is a fellow of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Congress of Fellows of the Center for International Legal Studies (Austria), Director of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (India Branch), Past President of the Association of British Scholars (ABS)-Mumbai Chapter and a proactive member of various committees of national and international institutions.
