On 13 February 2019, our Founding Partners, Mr Abdallah Alzari and Mr Walid Jumaa along with our Partner & Head of International Practice, Mr Eric Teo visited the Malaysian Trade Commissioner, Mr Omar Mohd Salleh and his deputy, Mr Suwardy Abd Shukor.  The meeting was held in MATRADE’s regional office in Dubai, MATRADE which is the acronym of the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation is a national trade promotion agency under the Malaysian Ministry of International Trade and Industry to promote the products and services of Malaysia to the international markets.

During the meeting, interesting matters were discussed and views were exchanged concerning the challenges that Malaysian investors and exporters face when doing business in the UAE and the region generally.  Our Partners were able to share valuable experience and advice at the meeting on how best to address and manage the challenges.
